SIGNAL GROUP CHAT TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Terms:

1. Agreement to Participate

“I agree to join and actively participate in a private Signal group chat created for the purposes of a television programme and associated media content.”

2. Consent to Use of Media & Content

“I consent to the use of my written chat messages, profile name, profile image, voice notes, photographs, videos, or any other communication I share within the group, to be used in edited or unedited form in the final TV show, promotional materials, and on social and digital platforms.”

3. Understanding of Anonymity & Attribution

“I understand that I MUST use a pseudonym and not my real name in the group chat, I understand that Signal does not reveal my real name, phone number or email to other group members. However, I understand that the producers may still associate my communications with me in the final edit.”

4. Conduct

“I will not try to contact any other participant outside of the Group Chat, I acknowledge that the only person I may privately contact will be the Admin of the group. I will endeavour to uphold and maintain a friendly chat environment within the group. Intimidatory language/behaviour will not be tolerated. I understand that my contribution can be terminated at any time and my attendance at the recording may be refused if my contribution is deemed offensive or inappropriate.

I understand that any complaints I have will be made to the group admin which will then be reviewed on a case by case basis”

5. Right to Record & Film

“I understand that I may be filmed and/or contacted as part of the show, and I consent to my likeness, voice and contributions being used in connection with the programme and promotional materials, in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity.”

6. Data Protection / GDPR Statement

“Your personal data will be handled securely and only used for purposes related to your participation in the programme. You may request to view, edit or withdraw your personal data at any time, subject to production constraints.”
